Dave is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sue Bellaire; brothers Howard and Donald, and his sister Lillian (Sissy) Bellaire; sons Perry (Stacy), Kyle (Trisha), and Bryan (Barbara); grandchildren Savannah, Kelsey (James), Bailey, Kayla (Nicholas), Brooke (Ernie), Brayden, Brynne, and Blythe. From 1950 to 1952, Don taught at Coldwater, KS. Blythe longed to be a writer, he said, and he listened and learned inspired by the example of poet friends including Turner (the unnamed poet in Akenfield) and WR Rodgers of how to live with very little money.
